Grindex G.S.K. is a family-owned business based in Thessaloniki, dedicated to providing specialized services and high-quality products to the printing industry. The idea that sparked our journey was initiated by Theodosios Kekes, the family patriarch, who inserted himself into the printing industry in 1992.
In 2012, Georgios Kekes joined the business after completing his studies, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and new ideas for the company. This marked the beginning of a new era for our company, as we began to expand our services and product offerings.
In 2017, Grindex G.S.K. was officially founded, with a focus on providing two core services: sharpening paper cutting knives and servicing printing and cutting machines. Our primary objective was to offer high-quality solutions that would enable our customers to maximize their machine’s capabilities and achieve the best possible results. This was made possible through our significant investment in a new grinding machine, which has greatly enhanced our capabilities.
In 2020, we took another significant step forward by introducing high-quality consumables for cutting machines, such as knives and cutting sticks. These consumables have created an ideal combination, allowing our customers to further optimize their machine’s performance.
As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence, we continually invest in the training and development of our team. In August 2024, Georgios Kekes completed a comprehensive training program with Hagedorn in Germany, earning a prestigious certification that further enhances our expertise in the field. This dedication to continuous learning and improvement enables us to stay at the forefront of industry developments and provide our customers with the best possible solutions.
Today, we are proud to serve over 150 printing houses in Greece and abroad, offering a range of products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
